I rely on custom post templates on one of my sites. Recently I ran into an issue when I upgraded to WordPress 3.01.Wordpress 3.01 I used the plugin Category Templates to assign my posts a specific custom post template.

The Category Templates plugin for Wordpress is a great for adding custom templates to your posts and archives based on the its Category. The user interface is straight forward and easy to use.
Custom Post Template Plugin on WordPress 2.91
If you are using the Custom Post Plugin version .92b and have recently upgraded your Wordpress to v. 2.91 you may notice the plugin is now broken. The issue is easily resolved by changing the following code in line 126 of the plugin:
