Using Internet Explorer, go to the report you are interested in editing. Once you can see the report(s) in the menu bar of Reporting Services on the right side you should see, Show Details. Click it and it will list your reports with details. In the details you should now see an Edit icon.

I don’t understand the phrase “clicking the Edit icon next to the Data Source”. Where are you seeing the datasource file at this point? When I use explorer and get to the file where the data source file is located there isn’t an Edit icon next to it? Can you explain where you are are at when you see this icon? Please

You’re correct this is an issue and can be a big deal for some people. Internally, our way around the issue is the Administrator still has Explorer View rights. If an entire folder many files need to be uploaded at once, the Administrator does it. Staff resistance has been minimal with this procedure.

I have a client and they want to upload multiple documents to the library, only catch is they have to do it 1 document at a time without the Explorer View option.

Thankssss mate!!! This really is the way to go! I just had the same problem with a customer us in Belgium. The ISP wouldn’t give any of our devices a public IP-address. Our sonicwall always has an IP-address in the private range (192.168.254.2). A full NAT was active to this WAN-port.

I just followed your instructions and bingo!! A few seconds later, the VPN-tunnel would come up. In the logs I could see that the firewall was responding with his private IP-address while the other firewall was pointing to it’s public IP-address.

I took out the code and the linked “Proudly Powered by WordPress.” is still there… Weird. Did WordPress create a default for themselves so that this method wouldn’t work?

Thanks this is great to know, I am sure it will come in useful for clients. I will however keep it in my footer as I am proud to leave it, word press is great!
