Creating a Static Background Image with Atahualpa

When using the Atahualpa Theme in WordPress you can easily create a static background image.  With a static background image, when scrolling down a page, the content scrolls but the background image stays in the same place.

Here are the steps to create a static background image.

  • Open WordPress
  • Click onto Atahualpa Theme Options
  • Under Overall Style & Config., Select Body, Text & Links
  • In the Body Style section type in the following information in the Coding box:
  • background-attachment: fixed;
  • Click Save Changes

Your background image should now be static.
